Warranty Policy
Know before receiving warranty service
1. Techland is a retail store. They do not manufacture any products. Therefore, Techland sends the products claimed under warranty directly to the supplier or manufacturer on behalf of the buyer. In terms of warranty, we follow the policies given by international (product-specific), domestic and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS).
2. When claiming a product warranty, you must present the purchase receipt or proof of purchase of the product, otherwise the warranty claim will not be accepted.
3. The warranty completion period may change based on the supply and scarcity of the product. Although it usually takes 7 days to get the product delivered after claiming a product warranty, it may take 35-40 days or more in special cases; because if the necessary parts for repair are not available in the country, it has to be specially imported, which is time-consuming.
Reasons why the product will not be covered by warranty
1. If the product does not have a purchase receipt, bill, invoice or any proof of purchase, it will not be covered by the warranty.
2. If any part of the product is burnt, broken, any part is bent, tampered, layer is cut, rusted, warped, fungus is found, cracks are found in any port, cracks are found.
3. If the sticker or serial number of the product is removed or found in an unclear state, it will not be covered by the warranty.
4. In the case of laptop/notebook computers, the warranty of batteries, chargers and other accessories is not more than 1 year and is not included in the warranty of the main product.
5. If any parts inside the casing of the product are changed and the serial number is found to be mismatched, it will not be covered by the warranty.
6. If the lock or hook of the product is found to have been broken or attempted to be opened, it will not be covered by the warranty.
7. If the screen of the product is found to have scratches or stains, it will not be covered by the warranty.
8. If any part of the product is found to be damaged or destroyed due to insects, it will not be covered by the warranty.
9. If any damage is detected on the screen of the product, such as a round or crescent moon, due to an impact, it will not be covered by the warranty.
10. If any damage occurs to the product due to the use of liquids or if liquids enter the product, it will not be covered by the warranty.
11. If any damage occurs due to misuse of the product, it will not be covered by the warranty.
12. To claim the warranty for Dead Pixel or Stuck Pixel of the monitor, a minimum of 3 or more dead/stuck pixels must be visible.
13. In case of any fragile product, such as monitor, glass casing, etc., the box must be provided with the product in the warranty claim.
14. If there is a product that does not have a serial on it but has a serial on the box, such as headphones, earphones, smart watches, cables, etc., the box is required for the warranty of the product.
15. If the buyer tries to repair any product himself or from an unauthorized organization, the warranty will be considered void.
16. In case of customized systems, the operating system will never be covered under the warranty.
Sales Return Policy
1. If there is a shortage of supply of any product within a specified period, the buyer will be offered an alternative product or the price will be refunded. In case of a refund, the supplier may refund the full selling price or a partial price based on the period of use.
2. In some cases, if there is no supply of any product, the buyer may have to make a partial price adjustment in order to get the alternative product.
Lifetime warranty policy
Lifetime warranty means providing warranty for the product until it is considered a common product in the market. If the product is considered a common product in the market under the lifetime warranty of a product, the buyer will receive warranty service. If a product is considered EOL (End Of Life), that is, if the production of the product is stopped, it will no longer be covered by the warranty. When a new version of the product comes to the market, it will not receive warranty service with the old version.
Service Warranty Policy
If any product included in the service warranty is within the warranty period, no additional cost will be charged for repairing it, but if any parts need to be replaced or added, the buyer will pay for the cost of those parts.
